Here's 8 photos of all the "field activity" that is going on. This mini-loader is mixing up the "granulated rubber" for the "artificial turf".
The mini-loader then loads the "hopper of the spreading machine" with the granulated rubber.
They spread alternate layers of "fine, clean, sand" and "granulated rubber" over the artificial turf.
A worker is spreading a layer of "granulated rubber" over the artificial turf.
This machine, with its brissle roller, then comes in behind the "spreaders" and blends the sand & rubber together, while lifting the "grass blades".
Another shot of the brissle roller at work.
This area just southeast of the Concession & Maintenance Building will have "real grass". It too, gets a special water drainage system.
Fields #3 & #4 are coming along too. They should be ready for the "artificial turf" in about a week.
